The world’s most famous golfer might have been a bit teed off after getting stuck inside a Domino’s Pizza in Japan.
Tiger Woods and a gaggle of other renowned golfers decided to go see Joker after the second round of the Zozo Championship tournament in Chiba was canceled because of rain. After leaving the movie, the group — which included Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Gary Woodland, Bubba Watson, and Ryan Palmer — came to find that the hotel shuttles and public transportation was shut down because of the storms.
The crew chose to wait out the deluge in a nearby Domino’s Pizza, where they ran through six thin-crust pies. But the wait was longer than expected, and Woods ended up getting stuck in the store for about an hour and a half.
Eventually, the streets cleared, and the gang was able to get back to the hotel in less than 15 minutes.
A few House Republicans also had Domino’s Pizza this week when a group of them broke into a closed-door impeachment hearing and, while there in protest, ordered a bunch of the chain’s famous pies. The stunt prompted outrage among Democrats.
